Kcpe results 2010

Prof Sam Ongeri officially released KCPE results 2010 at Kenya National Examination Council offices at Mitihani House, Nairobi December 28 2010. With boys taking majority slot in the top positions, this year yet again saw private schools top public institutions bringing to question the Free Primary Education program.


Central Province’s Ngatia Linus Muchiri and Rift Valley’s Metto Collins Kiprop jointly scooped the top position at the 2010 KCPE examinations with 434 out of 500 marks. Matindi Eleanor Karungari was this year’s First Lady and followed the two closely with 433 marks.The other top candidates were: Ochieng Rabin (433), Patrick Mumo (432), Winnie Gatiria (432), Oprah Omeka (432), Michael Maina (431), Faith Kwamboka (431), Navy Silas (431), Wilbur Omae (431). However, in Nairobi girls emerged tops taking 55 out of the 100 candidates in the province.
